Just walked into Dumpling House for the first time, and I must say, no regrets trying this place! It's the perfect spot to catch up with friends over a delicious meal without the usual noise you’d find in other busy places. The place has heaps of tablea so it never felt cramped, and I appreciated how spacious and comfortable the setting was. It's got that warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. Good to be back!

Delicious food, huge portions, well priced and the service is excellent. We just walked in, checked the menu, ordered and the food was on our table in less than 10 minutes (probably 5?). And, like I said, the food was so good.
We also had the pan fried pork and shrimp dumplings with the garlicky soy sauce (not pictured).
Definitely going back sometime soon.

The food was excellent and very tasty. What impressed me the most was the staff’s attitude – friendly and always with a smile. They even offered warm lemon water, which was a small gesture but made me feel truly cared for. If you’re staying in the CBD, this is a great place to dine. We finished everything we ordered. Grateful for the experience!

Brought my Mama here for a late lunch and we loved it!
The wonton soup was amazinggg whanau — so WHOLESOME, fresh, and perfect for a winter day. You won’t want to share it, it’s too good. We also love a bouncy noodle! The salt and pepper squid was next level too 🙌 soft, crispy, we basically inhaled it. Would 100% order again (just no mayo on top next time — mayo wasn’t it, but the side salad hits perfectly)
The Chinese burger was hard out umami vibes but was way too salty — would’ve loved something pickled or fresh to cut through. Fried dumplings? Cooked TO PERFECTION 👌 crispy, tasty… but the “secret” soy was super salty and astringent — it kinda stole the show in a bad way and gave that squeaky mouthfeel. Wish they had more filling, but I’d still order them again with a different sauce.
Vibes were cosy — you feel tucked away but it’s clearly a local fave. It was busy but felt so chill, really easy to relax and enjoy.
Definitely rate the squid and wonton soup — keen to come back and try more! Thanks Dumpling House 🏠🥟🙏

We came to Hamilton for a weekend away. Dine at Dumpling House on Bryce Street. The service was excellent and with very nice atmosphere and soft background music. Food was tasty, however the rice is slightly on the oily end. Overall we loved the food and would recommend to all who comes to Hamilton
